As a cast member of Bally’s Jubilee from the age of 18, Lauren Salgado has experienced and lived a side of Las Vegas often depicted in movies and dreamt of by young women the world over. Better yet, she still graces one of the largest signs on the Las Vegas Strip.
If not originally from Las Vegas, where did you grow up and what brought you to Las Vegas?
I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. I traveled quite a bit growing up for my ballet training. My Dad was offered a job here and my family moved to Las Vegas. I ended up working as a Showgirl in Jubilee right after I turned 18. I am still on the Marquee outside. You can see the photo while traveling North on the strip.
How long have you worked in the Las Vegas entertainment industry?
I have been in the industry for 10 years. I have been a showgirl, model and now I am an agent. I am fortunate to have participated in many facets of the industry. From entry level to full sized productions.
What do you find to be beautiful?
I love visual and performing arts. I am constantly on art and fashion blogs. I want to learn and see as much as I can!
Describe your perfect day:
My perfect day would be to go to yoga in the morning and spend the day with my son. I love romantic dinners with my boyfriend.
What hobbies, hidden talents, and activities do you enjoy?
I am a classically trained ballerina. I love hot yoga. I love going to my mom’s Easel People art class and painting still life’s with oil paints.
Are you involved in any side businesses, projects, or charities that we can plug within your profile?
I am a booking agent with BEST Agency which keeps me extremely busy and am excited to say that I was asked to head up the castings for new talent in the model arena! We have just completed casting the “New Faces” for the Fashion Show Mall which will launch in July and I am also placing some qualified models outside this market for bigger opportunities where BESTAgency will be the “mother agency”! I am constantly scouting looking for new models. …very exciting things happening!
