OFFICIAL
REVIEW OF REVOLUTION LOUNGE: by Jack Colton, Updated

Revolution Lounge is the nightclub
extension of the Cirque Du Soleil show "LOVE" at the
Mirage Hotel and Casino, and is themed and operated accordingly
in an uber high-tech theme meant to immerse visitors deeply into
a chic 60's nightlife setting. Known for often being the party
spot for off-duty Cirque show performers and employees, Revolution
Lounge tends to attract an interesting clientele and
is definitely a fun place to grab a cocktail and hang out for
an hour or two.

There is
nothing worse than not knowing what you are getting into when
you plan a night out. Fortunately, there aren't a lot of unpleasant
surprises at Revolution Lounge. There typically isn't too long
of a wait, if any, and the club is usually very easy to slip inside
of to scope out whether or not you are going to like what you
are getting yourself into.
I hate to
admit it. But when Revolution Lounge first opened,
I made the dumb mistake of thinking that the outer portion of
the club, Abbey Road Bar, was the entire club.
So when I heard that they were having various artists performing
at the venue, I was pretty damned confused where the heck they
were going to be putting everyone. Fortunately for the masses,
Revolution is actually quite spacious, with plenty of room to
spread out and show off your dance moves.
You will enter
the club by passing through the giant REVOLUTION sign / wall /
chair area that Abbey Road Bar is located within, and will walk
directly into the main room of the venue. As stated previously,
there typically isn't much of a wait to get in Revolution lounge,
and what you will see in front of you as you arrive is fairly
self-explanatory. As in, it would be impossible to get lost.
One of the
most popular features of Revolution Lounge, are
the interactive tables that allow guests to draw pictures that
can be sent directly to the main wall of the club (keep it classy
folks, don't draw genitalia or hate messages to your ex).
When
to go to Revolution:Information
Pending.
How
to get to Revolution: The club / lounge is located towards
the rear of the Mirage Hotel and Casino. If you follow the directional
signs towards the Pool (or the hotel elevators), you will run
straight into it.
Dress
Code: The official dress code for Revolution states the
typical no hats, shorts, and sandals. Past that, you will find
the door a bit more fashion-friendly than most.
