To Reserve a Table at a Las Vegas Nightclub.

If you have
been looking around on the internet, you have probably seen a
million websites trying to get you to book your table through
them. You can certainly take that route if you want to, but most
industry locals would agree that the best way to reserve
a table at a Las Vegas nightclub
is to deal directly with the Las Vegas nightclub.
By cutting
out the middle man, you ensure that the location of your table
is exactly where you want it to be, will establish a relationship
with the nightclub host who can add you to guest lists in the
future, and will probably save a little money in the process.
I’ve provided direct contact to the hosts that work at the
actual clubs in the Nightclub
Reviews section, so that you can easily make table reservations
yourself.
*If
you are making a last minute reservation, a part of a large group,
a bachelor party, or visiting on a holiday weekend - READ
THIS!
Ask
these questions about your reservation:
1) What is the bottle minimum for
my party?
2) Do you have any specials going on?
--------------------------------------------- The
answer will almost always be “no,” but it never hurts
to ask. Sometimes you can negotiate a "buy one get one half
off," a free fourth bottle, etc.
3) What time does my party need to check in by?_____________
Usually is 10:30/11:00PM or you
will get a table in a crappy area.
4) What type of music is being played in the room that
my table is in?
5) Will we still be able to keep the table when we are done with
the bottles? (See
Tip # 3)
TIP
# 1: The bottle minimum goes up as the number
in your party associated with the table goes up. If you have a
couple of people in your group who aren’t planning on drinking
or splitting the bill, you might have them go in the club separately.
Be careful though, if your host knows that you have more in your
party, they will up your minimum. Have your friends meet you inside,
and about fifteen minutes after you've been sat, they can stop
by and say hello. This can help to cut down on your bottle minimum,
and at $350+ per bottle, that can help out a lot.
TIP
# 2: If you are splitting the bill for the table
with your friends, collect all of the money up front. That would
be the total balance including tips.
I repeat…GET THE MONEY FIRST. If you end up ordering more
bottles, have everyone pay you when you order them. I can’t
count the number of times I have seen people fighting about tip
share at the end of the night, or never talking to friends again
because so-and-so didn’t throw in money when they said they
would.
TIP
# 3: Don’t get hustled. A few of the major
Las Vegas nightclubs (not mentioning any names of course) have
a habit of having the service staff clean off your table, and
then sending someone over to pressure you into buying more bottles
so that you don’t “lose your table.” You should
always confirm with your host when making your reservation how
long that you have the table for. The majority of the time it
is yours for the night, and they are just trying to get you to
order more bottles or get you out of the way so that they can
resell the table.
